Paisley Photographic Society was founded in 1857 and is the oldest photographic society in Scotland. We welcome all levels of photographers and hope to cater to all their needs in a friendly environment. To see what events we have coming up please feel free to have a look at our syllabus which runs from the beginning of September through to the end of April. Paisley Photographic Society aims to encourage amateur photography at all levels. It provides a platform for members to show off their work to others, to learn from the experiences of other members and to push their creative vision that little bit further.

Don’t be put off at all by thinking your work isn’t good enough to take part in this. It will be good enough to show to others and to gain some very useful feedback that will guide and encourage your future image-making. Above all, the Club exists to encourage you as a photographer. If you’re interested in photography, then this is the place to be.

Anyone who is considering joining Paisley Photographic Society is very welcome to come along to 3 meetings of their choice as our guest before making a decision to join and become a member.
